This year’s International Women’s Day theme is “Give to Gain.”

And honestly… that theme could have been written for us here at the Equestrian Mums Club.

EMC exists thanks to women like you who choose to give a little piece of themselves to this community — their stories, their experience, their encouragement.

And every time that happens, something powerful grows.

What women give inside EMC

This space is where women can share the honest realities of balancing horses, children, careers and identity.

🎉 We give celebration

The big wins, the tiny wins, the “I got to the yard today” wins.
You can celebrate (and commiserate) with us — we’ve got you.

🤝 We give introductions

Connections that lead to friendships, collaborations and opportunities.
There are people here worth knowing — so let us intro you.

👩‍👧 We give role models

Showing the next generation what it looks like to pursue passion alongside motherhood.
You might not think it, but by existing and daring to speak your truth, you are already a role model.

📚 We give knowledge

Lessons learned the hard way so someone else doesn’t have to.
By sharing, we help our sisters along.

🌱 We give resources

Practical tools, ideas and support for navigating life with horses and children.
If it helps, we want to give it air.

✨ And we give encouragement

Those small messages that say:

“You’re not the only one.”
“You’re doing better than you think.”

And what we gain…

When women give like this — like you do — something extraordinary happens.

Collectively, we gain:

Friendships
Momentum
Community

And most importantly… we gain each other.

So this weekend, on Sunday 8 March 2026 - International Women’s Day, I simply want to say:

Thank you to every woman in this community who has shared a story, offered encouragement, sent a message, recorded a podcast, or helped another mum feel seen.

Your voice matters more than you will ever realise. And together, we’re building something bigger than any one of us.

And every time someone does, another mum somewhere feels a little less alone.
