The Equestrian Motherhood Census has today (31st March 2026) been shared by British Equestrian - helping promote the value of the perspective of equestrian parents.

What is British Equestrian?

British Equestrian (formerly the British Equestrian Federation) is the National Federation for horse sports in Great Britain. It is affiliated to the Federation Equestre Internationale (FEI), the international governing body of equestrian sports.

BE exists to provide leadership, vision and purpose in steering the direction of equestrianism, under the patronage of Her Majesty The Queen.

British Equestrian is an umbrella organisation representing the interests of 3 million riders, vaulters and carriage drivers in Great Britain via 20 independent member bodies (14 members and six associates).

Established in 1972, BE is the largest representative body within the equestrian industry.
